Fly Fishing Casting Lessons

Let our skilled ROD & REEL casting instructors (most are current or past NZ Fly Fishing Team members) teach you the art of Fly Casting, our easy to understand and relaxed teaching methods are suitable for anglers of all levels, from beginners to the more experienced.

 Unravel the mystery of fly casting! 

• How to shoot line
• How to double haul
• How to mend
• Roll casting
• Plus many other casting techniques

The lessons will be held in various parks in the Central Auckland area.

Beginners lessons available, $90 per 1 ½ hours

Follow-up lessons: $60 per hour, we recommend 1-3 lessons.

All necessary equipment will be supplied (unless you prefer to learn how to cast with your own gear).

(Practise between sessions is recommended)
Nine times Australian casting champion  (capable of casting up to 69,8 meters with a single-handed rod!!!) practises his casting before every fishing trip, he can place his fly within an inch of any fish. Needless to say, John Rumph catches a lot of fish!!
